During the stay at CERN we will visit CERN itself and the on-line isotope
separator ISOLDE, one of the leading
facilities for radioactive nuclide production in the world.
Since Les Houches is very close to Chamonix and the Mont Blanc we will
organize a trip to Chamonix.
The
departure from Les Houches to Geneva will be in the early morning the 20th of
September. The bus arrives around 10:30 am at the Airport before it goes on to
CERN. From both places you can easily reach downtown and the main railway
station (check TPG and SBB
for this). This gives you the possibility to do some sightseeing in Geneva
provided that you organize your departure from Geneva accordingly.
